2020 Corvette Stingray Convertible

\"\"

This is the third time I\’ve been around the new C8-era Corvette, having already hung out with the mid-engine wonder in pre-production and prototype form at the National Corvette Museum in August and December of 2019.

This time, though, is the first time I\’ve seen the convertible in person. Debuting back in October at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the new convertible is the first Corvette convertible with a retractable hardtop. Thus, those who choose the convertible will be able to drive it year-round, never having to worry about thieves tearing at the top.

Both the targa and convertible \’Vettes are set to hit production in February, with the first copies hitting showrooms in the spring. I certainly can\’t wait to take a drive in one in the future.

2019 Toyota Camry XSE NASCAR Monster Energy Series Car

\"\"

Here\’s one car you won\’t see on the highway unless its hauler passes you on the road. Behold the 2019 Toyota Camry XSE campaigned by Kyle Busch during the 2019 NASCAR Monster Energy Series season.

Unlike the Camry XSE found on the highway, Busch\’s car is a rear-drive monster, motivated by a 5.9-liter, 725-horsepower V8 under the colorful hood. The power reaches the rear wheels through a four-speed manual, propelling Busch around the track for hundreds of laps at a time.

This car was one of a few used by Busch\’s team to capture the 2019 Monster Energy Championship, doing so November 17 at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida.
