GT500 Track Tour: Running wild with the herd in the heart of NASCAR country
Time may change the GT500, but it can trace time
The GT500 Track Tour is an experience I’ll never forget. For one, I can now add another NASCAR track to the tracks I’ve visited, as well as drove upon. I can also add zMAX Dragway as the second drag strip I’ve visited, and the first to make passes upon (at a major NHRA drag strip, no less).
It was also a chance to drive one of the most powerful cars on the road today in its natural setting. It’s almost criminal to not take a Shelby GT500 out to the track now and again.
I can’t wait for the next opportunity to go fast.
