2022 Hyundai Sonata N Line: Heating Up Main Street

Over a year ago, I welcomed my first Hyundai Sonata to the Aubernon Highway Roadhouse, the 2021 Sonata Limited. Behind its Calypso Red paint and Oakley-esque headlights resided a premium experience shoppers would\’ve never thought possible all those decades ago when Hyundai first made a play for the United States.

Near the end of 2021, another Sonata arrived, in the form of the 2022 Sonata Limited Hybrid. Same premium experience as before, with the added bonus of a hybrid powertrain augmented by a solar panel roof. The biggest thrill for me was pushing the hybrid to its limit as far as fuel economy was concerned on a round trip between my Old Dominion home and Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, succeeding with just 36 miles of range left in the tank.

Now, in the middle of Spring 2022, I can finally say the trilogy is complete. Instead of premium luxury or long gaps between visits to the pump, the 2022 Hyundai Sonata N Line is all about adding plenty of excitement to every trip.
