2022 Hyundai Sonata N Line: Heating Up Main Street

The Sonata N Line Makes Any Trip a Hot Lap

\"\"

Hyundai says the Sonata N Line is its \”most powerful ever,\” with \”more power, instant shifts [and] big fun.\” It certainly felt that way while keeping myself to my usual in-town drives, especially whenever I dropped it into sport mode for improved launches onto the road when needed.

Yet, it\’s still capable of doing all the things expected of the Sonata line, from hauling the groceries to my mom\’s house to using the pump every now and again. I managed around 35 mpg at one point during the week; the N Line averages 23 mpg in-town and 33 mpg on the highway for a combined 27 mpg.

In 2022, Hyundai has a Sonata for everyone. Fuel savers will be thrilled with the Hybrid. Those seeking a premium feel have the Premium trim level. Even the base SE has plenty to offer for those getting into a midsize sedan. The Sonata N Line brings the heat down to Main Street, presenting the opportunity for drivers to experience track day without ever needing to pay a fee to run a few open laps. The only way to top this is, of course, to go full N.
