All the way back in 2004, Hyundai built a compact crossover upon the same platform then in-use for the Elantra, as well as the Kia Sportage.
Its name? Tucson.
Since then, the Tucson became Hyundai\’s best-selling SUV/crossover in its lineup, over 7 million copies across three generations landing in many driveways.
Now, we have the fourth-generation Tucson, revealed in November 2020 for North America. Production began this February at Hyundai\’s plant in Montgomery, Alabama, where the Elantra, Sonata, Santa Fe, and the new Santa Cruz are also assembled.
This Tucson hits different than its predecessors, to say the least.
