First Look: 2021 Ford Bronco

A wise man from Detroit once asked, \”If you had one shot, or one opportunity, to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment, would you capture it, or just let it slip?\”

Such an opportunity appeared a few days ago, waiting for me to capture it, or to let it go.

On Monday, July 13, 2020, a name lost to the winds of history for 24 years reemerged through the flat screens: Bronco. The new horse brought back the past in retro-modern form, with two or four doors waiting to open for those adventurous enough to tame the Jeep Wrangler.

Those who prefer their adventures on the beaten path, though, can take the reins of the Bronco Sport. Channeling the spirit of the Bronco II, the little pony was built with competing against the Jeep Renegade, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-V in mind.

The Friday before, an email reached my inbox, detailing a last-minute opportunity to view one of the new Broncos in person at a marina in Alexandria, Virginia. All one had to do was reserve a spot between 2 and 6 p.m., then spend 30 minutes shooting as much photo and video as possible with up to three other journalists.

I could have stayed home.

Instead, I bring you the first look at the 2021 Ford Bronco.
