WAPA Rally 2019

Last, but not least, my final favorite road trip of the New \’10s occurred in early October on the shores of Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. Through a chance PR email a few months before, I became a member of the Washington Automotive Press Association, based in Washington, DC.
With that membership, I was able to participate in the organization\’s annual WAPA Rally, where member journalists, bloggers, et al networked with participating manufacturers, all the while also driving some of the latest and greatest of the new model year.
The star of this year\’s gathering was the Toyota GR Supra, a collaboration between Toyota and BMW to bring back the legendary name for the new decade to come. Nissan brought its new Versa to the party, Mazda delivered with the MX-5 RF, the GMC Sierra 2500 AT4 HD made its presence known, and the Jeep Gladiator was the funnest truck in town.
Can\’t wait for the next decade.
