Throwback: Cruisin\’ Downtown Christiansburg 2018

A few months earlier, I moved from Louisville to Christiansburg to start again, excommunicated from the cult of personality still inhabiting the communal art space that was home before. I stayed with my mom and my grandmother for the rest of 2017 before one of my aunts found on Craigslist the home I rent currently.

As said home was just a short walk away from downtown, where the car show has been held since the first in 2015, and that said show was free to all, I couldn\’t pass up on this opportunity to see what my new home had to offer.

Upon arriving that warm late afternoon, Mopars flanked both sides of Main Street to greet everyone to the gathering of amazing machines from around the New River Valley. I spent an hour or two just walking up and down the street, seeing what everyone brought to share with the public.
